As a kid, I wanted to work with software, so I became a software engineer and continuously improved my software development craftsmanship. I have since discovered that software development is not only about craftsmanship but a team collaboration requiring many different skills to be combined. I have since focused on working with software teams and the organization around them.

I enjoy learning new theories, frameworks, and practices. I use them as a foundation, but the most important thing is understanding the complexity and adapting the implementation to the organization.

Work-Life Harmony

Having a healthy work-life balance is fundamental to me. In 2027, I plan to do long-distance sailing with my wife. I look forward to crossing oceans and sailing to distant shores together.
